Hi, I installed Windows 10 in my MacBook Pro 13 inch late 2011. The Mac had Windows 7 installed in Bootcamp and I simply installed the new Windows from the DVD.The problem is that in the last restart of the installation, when I'm supposed to login on Windows, the screen is just black. In couple of occasions a cyan Windows logo appeared and got stuck in a black background. So it is as if Windows 10 never loads after installation. When the computer starts I can listen the fan as during a normal computer start. But after a while (either with black screen or Windows cyan logo on black screen), the fan and the computer itself stop any noise related to a loading OS and stays as on hold.I have to press the power button for a while to shutdown the computer.Any ideas? Thanks. Because Macs are propriety in design, you likely will have to wait until Apple officially supports Windows 10 with updated Boot Camp drivers. It is possible the Company might have to release firmware updates to support Windows 10. There are some changesto the driver model in particular where video drivers are concerned and that might be a factor why it is not supported.I would recommend if you need to evaluate Windows 10, do so in a Virtual Machine:Best, Andre Windows Insider MVP MVP-Windows and Devices for IT twitter/adacosta groovypost.com.

That was fine but, because I replaced the hard drive with a SSD model, I took a chance to set as the newest environment as possible. I found out to my sadness that Mac Mini 2010 (model 4,1) is not supported by BootCamp 5 therefore Windows 8/8.1 neither. But there are workarounds to install BC5 and the other missing (mostly graphic) updated drivers. Aopen sell barebone with exact size of mac mini. I have a mid2010 MPB 13'. Installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit and works smooth.

Hello,I have a mid2010 MPB 13'.Installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit and works smooth. But 'device manager' still shows- Coprocessor- SM Bus Controlleras not installed/missing drivers.I have installed BootCamp 3.0 from the MBP instalation DVD and than the updates 3.1 and 3.2 from the net.The system speed is o.k. I have a system index of about 5.4!That is quite impressive. So I wonder if the 'missing' drivers are some cosmetic problem.I the system really wouldnt use the coprocessor, I dont think the system could run so fast.Have searched over the net, but still havent found any solution for this. Thanks for any suggestionscheers.
